7-Round Mock Draft

My LA Rams 7-Round Mock Draft Introduction: As we move closer to the draft, it is time for my first mock draft that is solely focussed on the Rams and their picks over all three nights. As it stands, the Rams hold 7 draft picks, including one pick in each of the first three rounds. The only original draft picks that they still own are their second and third round picks at 61 and 93 overall. I will be including trades in this mock draft, as I would put a lot of money on the Rams trading in some way or another on draft night and I want it to be as realistic as possible. Speaking of trades, let’s jump into the Rams first pick of the draft. Pick one: LA Rams TRADE picks 13 and 61 to the New York Jets for picks 16 and 44 Although the Rams would love to trade back and recoup their mid-round picks here, they are also wary of dropping too far back in the first round and missing out on one of their top players. By moving back three spots in round one, they manage to move forward 17 spots in the...

2026 Defensive Draft Gems

Introduction: Following on from my last report on my offensive draft gems, I have a draft prospect for each defensive position that I believe could be a valuable pick for the Rams outside of the first round. They range from day two picks to possible late round or priority UDFA pickups, but all would bring healthy competition in some way to the Rams’ position groups. I will work my way from the defensive backfield to the defensive front, starting with an impressive safety from TCU. Safety: Bud Clark – 6”1, 188 lbs Clark plays the game like a heat-seeking missile, which can work both for him and against him at times. He can sometimes get caught out by well disguised play action or clever misdirection from the quarterback or the play call, but the amount of times that his instincts payoff is much higher than the amount of times it backfires. Clark is able to diagnose plays incredibly quickly and always seems to find his way to the ball some way or another, either against the pass or the r...

2026 Offensive Draft Gems

My 2026 Offensive Draft Gems: Introduction: We are under a month away from the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Rams are set to make just their second first round pick since 2016. Unfortunately, there are no prospects named Jared with any chance of going inside the first 32 picks, so we can’t follow that trend after our previous two first rounders being used on Verse and Goff. However, in this report I’ll be focussing on the players that may be going under the radar and could be targeted by the Rams outside of the first round. I have selected one player for each position that I personally like and will explain where they could be drafted and why I believe they could be a steal later in the draft. I will start on the offensive side of the ball in this report and move on to the defensive players on the next one. Without further ado, lets delve into the quarterback I believe has one of the higher ceilings in this QB group. Quarterback: Drew Allar – 6”5, 228 lbs Allar had an up and down college ca...

LA Rams 2025 Breakout Watchlist

Introduction: The Rams roster is one of the deepest in the entire league and will rely on plenty of different players to make an impact throughout the entire season. Drafting and acquiring younger players that performed well over their lower expectations has been key to their success over the past few years, including the likes of Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams and Quentin Lake since 2022.  There are 5 players that I can see having the potential to break out in a big way this season for the Rams. I’ll dive in to all five of them below including their stats from last year and why I believe they have the ability to break out this year. All five players have showed promise at some point so far in their young careers which makes me believe that they have plenty of unlocked potential to become a reliable contributor to this team. Possible breakout candidates WR Jordan Whittington – 22 catches, 293 yards, 13.3 yards per catch, 14 first downs / 16 kick returns, 453 return yards, 28.3 yards pe...

LA Rams 2025 Roster Prediction

We’re a couple weeks away from the start of the NFL season and the following few days will be full of roster cuts, waives and releases. The belief around the Rams’ roster is that this may be the deepest roster they have had in a long time so there may be some extremely difficult decisions to be made with players who deserve a roster spot, but there aren’t enough spots available. I’ll go through my predictions at each position, and also include a short word on those who I predict to miss out on a spot in the final 53.  Quarterbacks: Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Garoppolo, Stetson Bennett (3) There’s not much to think about when it comes to the QB room, especially after Bennett’s performances in the first two preseason games which showed how much work he has put in to improve his game. It would be too risky for the Rams to waive Bennett and try to get him back on the practice squad as he would be a more than serviceable backup for many teams in the league so it wouldn’t be surprising to s...
